My (Carol) love for photography began when I was in my pre-teen years after receiving a camera I had asked for Christmas.  Suddenly, I found myself taking pictures of everything.  I consider myself a visionary; creating an image in my head and working until I get what I am looking for.   Throughout my career, I have won a few photo contests. One including the Kentucky Council for the Arts “Springtime in Kentucky” Derby Exhibit in which the prized photograph hung in the Capitol rotunda and was recognized by former First Lady Jane Beshear.  

Ben has had a camera in his hand since he was eight years old.  He has numerous years of experience with graduation photography, but is diverse in any and all types of subjects to shoot. His love of landscapes and architecture show in his finished prints.  Most recently, he has enjoyed shooting senior and family portraits, along with the growing trend of any and all aspects of Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail.

We are an excellent team and enjoy working together because we have a distinct difference in what an image should look like. This allows us to express our individual thoughts, but also to support and guide each other on projects to make it perfect for the client. 

In our down time, we enjoy spending time with family, reading, traveling, kayaking, fishing and hiking.  Growing up in Anderson County, I knew that one day I’d like to return to this area because of my love for the peace and beauty of the countryside. Recently, we purchased our forever home near Salvisa, Kentucky and stay busy with all the demands of country living.
